    The Stanley Cup

Mike Babcock was raised in Saskatoon. He played for the Saskatoon Blades and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies before moving away to pursue a career in professional hockey. In 2008, he coached the Detroit Red Wings to a Stanley Cup victory.

Each member of the winning team gets the Stanley Cup for a day, and Mike wanted to share that experience with the people back home in Saskatoon. He also wanted to use that opportunity to help raise money for a worthy cause.

So we helped Mike plan a public event at Saskatoon's River Landing: Everyone was invited to pose for a photo with Lord Stanley's Cup and provide a donation to the Children's Health and Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. Creative Fire designed the logo, developed a website & advertising and planned the logisitics and media relations.

Mike also hosted a barn dance for his family and friends later that evening. We built a website to house the invitation.

It was a great day, and we were pleased to support Mike and the Children's Health and Hospital Foundation.

There's a complete recap of Mike's return to Saskatoon at the Hockey Hall of Fame website.
